- סַטְדָּא(סוֹטְ׳) pr. n. (prob. of Greek origin, cmp. pr. n. Σταδιεύς) Saṭda; בן ס׳ son of S., surname of Jesus of Nazareth. Sabb.104b; Tosef. ib. XI (XII), 15; Y. ib. XII, end, 13d והלא בן ס׳ לא הביאוכ׳ but did not Ben S. bring sorcery from Egypt only in this way (by making incisions in his flesh)? Y.Snh.VII, 25d top כך עשו לבן סוט׳וכ׳ so they did to Ben S. in Lydda, when they made two scholars lie in wait for him ; Y.Yeb.XVI, 15d bot. Sabb. l. c. (in editions not controlled by censors, v. S. a. l.) בעל ס׳ בועלוכ׳ her husbands name was S., her lovers, Pandera; (refuted and changed) אמו ס׳וכ׳ his mothers name was S. סַֹטְֹיַת ד̇אֹוכ׳ … this one deserted her husband; Snh.67a סָטַת דאוכ׳, (v.
